In this role, you will lead with vision and purpose—working collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality educational programmes aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS). You will mentor educators, foster reflective practice, and ensure each child’s learning is thoughtfully supported and extended.

Your Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and implementation of a strong, inspiring curriculum vision
• Guiding educators in planning, documenting and assessing children’s learning
• Supporting reflective practice and continuous improvement across the service
• Mentoring and coaching educators to strengthen teaching practices
• Building positive, respectful relationships with children, families and the wider team
• Promoting play-based learning and recognising the value of play in early childhood
• Ensuring curriculum decisions are informed by current research and best practice
• Supporting inclusive practices to meet the diverse needs of all children
• Working collaboratively with the Centre Director and leadership team
• Upholding compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), including NQS, National Law and Regulations
• Maintaining a safe, nurturing and high-quality learning environment
• Contributing positively to the centre culture and professional standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning theories
• Sound knowledge of curriculum frameworks (EYLF) and contemporary approaches
• A passion for mentoring, coaching and supporting educator growth

Mandatory Requirements (Victoria)

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
• Current VIT (Victoria Institute of Teaching) Registration
• Minimum 2 years kinder teaching experience
• Australian working rights

You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, play-based learning experiences, working closely with your team to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5.

Your Key Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
• Building warm, respectful relationships with children and families
• Working collaboratively with educators to support each child’s development and wellbeing
• Assisting with observation, documentation and assessment of children’s learning
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised learning environment
• Supporting daily routines and transitions with care and consistency
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive and team-oriented centre culture
• Ensuring compliance with the EYLF, National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies
• Upholding child safety, privacy and confidentiality at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS and relevant regulations
• Current First Aid and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and care

You will play a key role in creating a positive, collaborative environment where children, families and educators feel supported and inspired.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and relevant regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead with confidence
• A proactive, organised and flexible approach
• Current First Aid certification
